Therapy for Burnout & Anxiety in NYC & Connecticut

I provide depth-oriented therapy for burnout and its effects on adolescents, young adults, and adults in NYC & Connecticut who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or on autopilot.

I work with people who keep everyone else afloat: those in demanding careers, caregivers, students under academic stress, and the friends everyone counts on. If you can't remember the last time you put yourself first, you're in the right place.

Capable on the outside.
Stretched thin underneath.

You get things done. People trust you with a lot, and you deliver. From the outside, it looks like you have it handled.

Underneath, you're running on fumes. You're tired in a way sleep doesn't fix. You feel guilty resting. You're irritated by things that never used to bother you, and you're quietly resentful of people who don't carry what you carry.

Over-functioning isn't a personality flaw. It's a strategy that likely worked for a long time to keep you safe, needed, or in control. In our work together, we find out what it was protecting you from, and what becomes possible once it isn't your default.

Who I work with

I work with people who are burned out. Chronically abandoning yourself in service of work, school, others, or perfection can manifest as exhaustion you can't sleep off, relationships you keep sabotaging without meaning to, or a body that's been trying to get your attention for years. It shows up differently depending on where you're over-functioning.

01

Workhorses

You're the one who stays late and catches anything that falls through the cracks. There's no question that you'll get the job done and done well. The cost doesn't show up in your performance review. It shows up in your body, your sleep, and your never-ending internal dialogue.

02

Caregivers

Kids, family members, friends, or all of the above. You are the default plan, the one who holds the household or the group together. Somehow your own needs stopped being on the list, and you're not entirely sure how to make space for them.

03

Empaths and Fixers

You read a room before you walk into it. You know what everyone else needs before they say it. You are exceptionally good at showing up for other people and much less practiced at letting anyone show up for you.

04

Students

You're juggling classes, internships, loans, or the expectation that you'll have it all figured out by graduation. Everyone tells you these are the best years of your life, but you're exhausted, anxious, or quietly convinced you're falling behind.

Begin

If you're used to being the one who holds it together, asking for help can feel like admitting defeat.
It isn't. It's the first thing on the list that's actually for you.
